What we collect, why, how long we keep it, and what you can ask us to do.

Who we are

theTerraces is run by DragonBet. The company's full legal details are added here before launch.

Our contact address for anything about your data goes live before launch.

If you visit the site

Our host's logs. Like any website, our host records requests, including IP addresses, to keep the site running and secure. We don't use these logs to identify you.
Visits through a creator's link. If you arrive through a creator's tracked link, we count the visit so we can pay them. We don't store your IP address: we store a scrambled code made from the day, your IP address and your browser, which lets us count you once a day and can't be linked to you on any other day.
Clicks to DragonBet. When you follow a DragonBet link, we record the time, the page, the link and the same scrambled code, so we know which creator and piece sent you.

We do this because we have a legitimate interest in running the site and paying creators fairly. We keep visit and click records for 13 months, then delete them.

Cookies

We don't currently set any cookies that need your consent. If that changes, for example to remember which creator sent you, we'll ask you first.

If you sign up to DragonBet

DragonBet's own privacy policy covers your account. We never receive your name, contact details or anything else that identifies you. Creators see totals only, and revenue figures stay hidden until at least 5 customers sit behind them.

If you're a creator

We hold your name, contact details, bio, photo, channel links, identity and age checks, your audience's age data, payment details and earnings. We need these to run your agreement with us and to meet gambling rules that say we must know who carries DragonBet links. We keep them for the length of your agreement and then for 6 years, because tax records require it.

Who else handles it

Vercel, which hosts the site. It may process data in the US under UK-approved safeguards.
Our database provider, once creator accounts open.
DragonBet's affiliate system, which sends us daily totals for each creator.

We don't sell personal data.

Your rights

You can ask to see the data we hold about you, correct it, delete it, or object to how we use it. If you're unhappy with how we've handled your data, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk or on 0303 123 1113.
