How your tracked link works
One link, added to anything you share, is how your traffic bonus is counted. Here's what it does, what it doesn't, and how to get the most from it.

Your link is any theTerraces page with your name added on the end, for example theterraces.co/your-club/?ref=your-name. Share it instead of the plain address and every visit it brings counts towards your bonus.
What counts
- Each person counts once a day, however many times they click.
- Link previews and bots, such as the preview WhatsApp or X builds when you paste a link, are filtered out.
- Bought traffic doesn't count.
What it doesn't do
It doesn't store anyone's IP address or set a cookie on their phone. We count the visit as it arrives and send them on to the clean page. That keeps readers' privacy intact and keeps us clear of cookie consent rules.
The tiers
- 1,000 visits in a month: £10
- 2,500: £25
- 10,000: £100
- 25,000: £250
- 50,000 or more: £500
You get the highest tier you reach each month. Your dashboard shows your visits so far and how many more reach the next tier.
Getting more from it
- Link straight to the piece you're talking about. A headline earns more clicks than a homepage.
- Put it in your podcast notes and video descriptions as well as your posts.
- Pin it in your bio so new followers find it.
